Practice Description:
I view the therapy process as a collaborative effort in which I have as much to learn from clients as they do from me. I strive to remain solution focused and strengths based, attempting as much as possible to look for solutions in what people are already doing. In my practice, I incorporate my training in Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and fuse this with art therapy interventions. Coming from a background in community based services where wraparound programs are huge, I like to work with clients to find potential supports for ongoing wellness in their community.

Practice Specialty: Most of my professional experience has been working with a wide range of school age children, adolescents and their families including those experiencing: ADD & ADHD, ODD, Depression, Anxiety, RAD (& attachment related problems), PTSD, as well as developmental, intellectual, and physical disabilities. Other areas of focus include: Grief & loss, Stress management & Coping skills, Anger management, & LGBT issues. I am also interested in and experienced with coordinating care with other systems such as schools and disability services.
