In my practice, my goal is to offer a safe place for you to address your greatest concerns, process a range of emotions, and move through places you feel stuck. I provide empathy, support, humor and perspective in helping you create an effective path forward in your life. While it can be hard to feel hopeful when circumstances are overwhelming, my role is to help you in your struggle to access the wisdom, strength, and awareness you already possess. I utilize an eclectic approach, drawing on cognitive behavioral and solution-focused therapy. These are helpful for goal setting, and strengthening the ability to cope in concrete, tangible ways. As well, my art therapy background aids in enhancing emotional depth and accessing places words cannot always convey.
